Appointments & Fees

The cost of a 50 minute clinical psychology consultation is $240.
There are 4 payment options:
1. Medicare + gap payment. Australian citizens who obtain a Mental Health Care Plan from their GP are eligible for up to 10 Medicare-subsidized sessions with a psychologist per calendar year. Please make a long appointment to see your doctor to ask for a referral. The Medicare rebate for a 50 minute clinical psychology consultation is $141.85 (current as at 26.08.25) and the gap payment (the portion that you need to pay) is $98.15. The full amount of $240 is payable by you at time of your appointment and the Medicare rebate can be deposited into your bank account via our HICAPS terminal. Please bring your Mental Health Care Plan with you to your first appointment or have your doctor send it to us prior to your first appointment.
2. NDIS. NDIS participants who are self-managed or plan-managed and who have funding for psychology may use their NDIS funding to pay for sessions.
3. Private health insurance. If you have private health insurance, you may also be entitled to a rebate from your insurer. However, amounts vary between insurers, so please contact yours for more information. Please note, you can only claim one rebate at a time: either your Medicare or your health fund rebate, but not both.
4. Full fee paying. You do not need a referral from your GP to book an appointment or use private health insurance and may simply choose to pay the full fee.
Please note: Cancellations without 24 hours notice will incur a cancellation fee. Payment is expected in full at the time of consultation for all clients except those who are NDIS plan-managed. We accept Cash, EFTPOS, MasterCard, and Visa.
